Requirement Of The Course
80% attendance is compulsory for every student. There will be six month internship
programme for every student to get experience related to duties of the teacher.
Every pupil teacher should take 46 lessons throughout the course 50 lesson throughout
the course. For the 1st year 560 marks are reserved for theory paper and 440 marks
for practical. For the 2nd year again 480 marks are reserved for theory papers and
520 marks for practical. Practical work is compulsory for every student.

Admissions :
A candidate seeking admissions to D.Ed. Course must pass the H.S.C. / Equivalent
Examination with at least 45% marks (12th std. Passed in Arts / Commerce / Science).

Grace Marks Concession : |
1)

Sports - If student has participated in any sport at state or National level will
be awarded 3 Grace marks for admission purpose.
|
2)

Drawing - Students having Intermediate Examination passing certificate will get
3 grace marks for admission purpose.

3)

Music - Students having Visharad Or Alankar Examination passed from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya
will get 3 marks for admissions.

science faculty - 50% seats of total intake are reserved.

Arts Faculty - 40% seats of the total intake are reserved |

Commerce Faculty - 10% seats of the total intake are reserved. |

Norms of Passing D.Ed. Examination : |

To pass the examination candidate must obtain at least 50% marks in each head of
passing examination and must obtain minimum 'B' grade in each part in the examination
in the internal assessment.

Final Evaluation - only those student-teachers who get the principal's certificate
for satisfactory performance in theory and practical activity shall be added in
final evaluation.

The syllabus of D.Ed. Course in as prescribed by National Council of Teacher Education.
Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance is available to deserving students at the exclusive discretion
of the management. Deserving students must submit the requisites application within
3 weeks of opening of the college.
